Levi & Cabot | Portraits
I was able to photograph 5 month old Cabot and his older brother Levi a couple days ago. Cabot was on his good behavior for me and was a real charmer.
Levi showing some brotherly love to little Cabot.
Cabot's eyes were so big and blue...makes me want to go swimming.
You can really see his fuzzy hair when he was laying down on the bed.
Poor Cabot...he wanted to go to sleep so bad but I think I traumatized him with all the flashes :(
Levi was quite okay with me turning the camera onto him though. He kept saying "mo pictures, mo pictures"...but I think he just wanted the flash to go off. How could I say no??? ;)
My favorite thing was seeing Levi try and make Cabot smile and it was also interesting to learn both of their intricacies. Can't wait to until Cabot grows up and is Levi's age. The transformations at that young age are the fun part.

Dorian + Akilah | Portraits
I'm not gonna lie, but I was not too enthused to be doing a shoot in January with not too many indoor locations planned. But when I met up with Dorian + Akilah before the shoot and started to talk with them (it was the first time we met), I immediately realized, THIS SHOOT IS GOING TO ROCK!
They wanted photos because it is their 6 year wedding anniversary. You would never tell that they have been married for that amount of time though. They have the enthusiasm and love for each other that I normally see in newly engaged couples. Dorian was a complete crack up and definitely made my job easy as he had Akilah laughing and smiling the whole time.
This is a shot that Dorian really wanted. It is a pose that one of their children did and Dorian loves to do it (look at the huge smile on his face). Dorian can explain the story behind it MUCH better than me ;)
I posted the previous photo to see if you would yawn...did it work?
Oh no...it's a stare off!
I had a great time shooting Dorian + Akilah and wish them many more wonderful years.
